500 years ago on October 31, 1517…An unknown monk…a simple priest…a university professor of theology…nailed a list of complaints (thesis) to the door of the town church in Wittenberg, Germany. 95 criticisms of the church to be considered and debated by the university faculty. Little did he know his students would take that document and translate it into German and print it.
That document spread throughout Germany…all the way to Rome. That unknown monk had no idea it would be the most crucial event in church…it would launch the greatest reformation known to the church. It would be a reformation of protestors that would continue today.
