On October 31, 1517, an Augustinian monk by the name of Martin Luther nailed a document to the church door in Wittenberg, Germany. Unknowingly, by that act he set in motion the greatest religious reformation known to history. Since that time, Reformed Theology has shaped nearly all aspects of Christianity today. This six-week introduction to the history, doctrine, and theology of the Reformation will include a weekly video tour through Reformation sites in Germany and an in-depth teaching on the five points of Reformed Theology. The class is both accessible to those just beginning the journey into Reformed Theology, as well as, challenging to the seasoned student of theology. Several books will be suggested for reading during the class.
